IX Australia Launches New Status Page

IX Australia has this week launched its new status page detailing outages within the network. As a public status page, members can register to receive free updates for particular outages, outages by state, or for all incidents.

The status page has been linked to the @IXAustralia twitter account to post updates (prefix [IX Status]) from the platform.  Automation in the background can trigger notifications for our critical network elements.  PagerDuty has been chosen for managing callouts and Statuspage.io is providing their service at a generous non-profit discount.
