NBN Co Cost Allocation Manual

The ACCC is consulting on NBN Co’s proposed updates to its approved cost allocation manual (CAM) and accounting procedures (AP). The CAM and AP are used to allocate costs and revenue to shape the regulated cost base of products. 

NBN Co proposes to allocate leased dark fibre costs as Core Regulated Services or Competitive Services where the costs are directly attributable to Enterprise Ethernet services or FTTP services in new developments. It proposes to change the AP for consistency with the CAM in relation to leased dark fibre costs.
