About the consultation:
The Australian Communications Media Authority (ACMA) is consulting on the proposed Telecommunications (Consumer Protections) Industry Standard 2026 (TCP Standard) which will replace the current industry code, C628:2019 Incorporating Variation no. 1/2022 Telecommunications Consumer Protections Code.
The proposed TCP Standard will mean major changes to a CSP’s operations including in relation to the CIS, sales, billing and credit assessments, complaints, and staff training and remuneration.
