New WA-IX PoP at PierDC

The Internet Association of Australia Inc (IAA) is pleased to announce the continued growth of the IX Australia network with new PoP launching in Western Australia with PierDC now live. This brings the network to 33 PoPs nationally.

“The introduction of our latest PoP at PierDC provides our members with even more options for their peering needs in WA.” said IX Australia Technical Manager, Joe Wooller. “We now have six connection points available in Western Australia making it easier for our existing and potential members to leverage our services.”

“PierDC is a wholly WA owned and operated datacentre, and a valuable addition to the WA-IX network.”
