IX Australia expanding its 100Gbps peering services

The team at IX Australia is continuing its commitment to developing projects that support both its members and the internet community with the launch of its 100G peering services in Melbourne. These latest 100G peering ports will be available at our NEXTDC M1 site.

With the expansion of video streaming and the exponential growth of internet traffic over the networks in recent years the opportunity to offer our members services that support their technical needs has been vital.

The availability of 100G allows more scope for our members to grow and develop their services. Our next priority is offering 100G peering services to members in Canberra. We are also sourcing sites and in discussions with our members in Darwin and Tasmania.
