AGM Results

It was great to meet with our members in Melbourne for the 2017 Annual General Meeting at The Langham Hotel.

The Association Committee are pleased to officially welcome two new committee members to the team. David Hooton joins the committee as a Professional Representative, and Daryl Collins of Akamai, joins as a Corporate Representative. Two of our current committee members have been re-elected to the committee filling Corporate Representative seats, Shane Short from In A Box Technologies Pty Ltd and Nathan Brookfield from Simtronic Technologies Pty Ltd.

We also welcome Ian Chiu of Netflix to the team, Ian joined the committee filling a casual vacancy shortly before the AGM was scheduled.

Special thanks to David Allen who has completed his term on the IAA Committee, you have been a valued asset to the team.

At the AGM we were pleased to announce our Universal Port Pricing initiative, you can read more here. And our Peering Engineer, Tim Raphael, gave us an insight into our metrics project, and he has blogged about it here.
