IX Australia live in Canberra
IX Australia’s latest point of presence is now live in NEXTDC’s Canberra C1 facility. Our peering engineers have been working hard to install 10G and 40G ports, with backhaul to Sydney now operational and available via Extended Reach and VLL’s.
Members can currently order:
- 10G or 40G Peering Ports
- NSW-IX Extended Reach – Unprotected
- NSW-ACT VLLs – Unprotected
Coming in Q2 2020:
- VIC-IX Extended Reach
- ACT-MEL, ACT-VIC, ACT-PER, ACT-ADL VLLs
- NSW-IX Extended Reach – Protected
- NSW-ACT VLLs – Protected
Members have already started taking advantage of this new service. Orders can be placed via the Member Portal or for more information contact the team on peering@internet.asn.au
IX Australia is also calling on members and prospects in Equinix BR1, AE1, CA1 and PE1 to express interest in having IXA provide ports in those old Metronode sites.
