IX-AUSTRALIA reduces prices for members

As a member driven not-for-profit association, WAIA makes it a priority to deliver a range of services that provide the best possible benefit for our member community.

As part of successful expansion, IX-Australia peering services will move to price parity across all exchanges in the IX-Australia network, effective for September services. This means 1GB peering will be reduce from $500 (ex. GST) per month to $350 (ex. GST per month) and 10GB peering will reduce from $800 (ex. GST) to $550 (ex. GST) per month in VIC-IX and QLD-IX.

“As a not-for-profit association we look for ways to provide the best services at the lowest possible price,” said WAIA Treasurer Paul Arch. “We are pleased to announce a price reduction in Victoria and Queensland, bringing our prices in line across the entire IX-Australian network.”

“This shows great value for money for those peering in Victoria and Queensland and we expect to see many of our peers look at this as an opportunity to expand and upgrade.”
