Our Unplugged series moved to South Australia this month, with a great turnout of members at the event held in Adelaide.
IX Australia’s Senior Peering Engineer, Tim Raphael and board member Matthew Moyle-Croft facilitated the event at which members engaged in lively discussions about the current internet climate including the state of the NBN and locally Adelaide’s 10G City, Australia’s first 10Gbps fibre optic network. Members were interested to hear about the Association’s upcoming plans and the leadership changes and the new structure of the organisations following the appointments of IAA and IX Australia’s General Managers, Kellie Ireland and Terry Sweetser.
“The casual, laidback atmosphere of the evening created the perfect opportunity for members to enjoy a few drinks and chat face to face, and for us as an association to learn more about our members needs and engage with the community,” explained Tim.
These events are specially designed for you as members to come together and we encourage you to come along when we are in your state.
We look forward to meeting with our members in Perth in July.
